Hi guys
This is some big news for us guys. Intercytex are looking at a method of cloning hair follicles from the patient and then re-injecting them back into the patients head.
Rather than a hair transplant where the number of hair that can be transplanted in an area depends upon how many hair can be extracted from the donor site (usually the back of the head) this method clones hair cells and these are re-injected into the patients head.
check out http://www.intercytex.com/icx/products/aesthetic/icxtrc/ for more info.
Looks promising. |

This is one of the biggest companies to look forward to in terms of hair loss treatment. The cloning technique looks promising to say the least. If it works it will revolutionise hair transplants. Imagine, no limit to the number of hairs that be be transplanted into a patients scalp. No dependence on the number and quality of hairs present on the donor site. That means a full head of hair for all. |
