Hello,

These videos show a study carried out comparing various treatments used for regrowth of hair on balding men. Five guys with little hair try different treatments to see which is the most effective at promoting new hair growth. The treatments used were,

1. Minoxidil
2. Propecia
3. Viviscal/Nourkrin
4. Laser therapy
5. Hair transplantation

The scalps of the five men were inspected before commencing treatment. A number of photos were taken from a specialist of each mans head at varying head positions. The men are introduced to their specific treatment method and each one of them predicts the results he expects from the treatment.

Each of the five men then undergo their specific treatment for six months. After six months the results achieved for each of the five men are reviewed by taking photos of the scalp and comparing these with photos taken before treatment.

Propecia and Minoxidil show some new hair growth. Viviscal/Nourkrin proves to be a good drug for maintaining existing hair rather than promoting new hair growth. Laser shows surprisingly good results considering the bad press associated with laser therapy in promoting hair growth. The best results were seen by the hair transplantaion method.

The third video is a summary of the results achieved after 6 moths of treatment for each of the five guys.

Very informative study.

I did not expect laser to do as well as it did. Minoxidil and Propecia are proven drugs that can stop hair loss and promote new hair growth. The fact that they did not work very well for the guys who tried them does not prove that they do not work.

Nice find Smile

Good study but would have been more informative if there were more people to study each of the drugs on.

Wow, didnt expect that from laser AT ALL. I guess this gives SOME evidence that it does work.

I think further studies and research need to be done on laser treatment to prove its effects in stopping hair loss and promoting hair growth.

Not bad video
